Dear friends
The dispute ballot closed on Friday. The majority of you voted and the outcome was a 98% vote to continue with further action.
Unite reps met on Monday and decided to activate the Avoidance of Dispute Procedure. We will now do everything we can to persuade St Mungo’s management to understand that continued inaction is not an option.
We need to show the strength of feeling among the whole workforce. Please sign our petition for a decent pay rise:
If you’ve already signed it, please forward it to a colleague. It’s open to all St Mungo’s workers whether union members or not. If you’re not sure whether you’ve already signed it, sign it anyway. Duplicates will be deleted before it’s handed to management.
None of you deserves a real-terms pay cut. Your work is valuable and you should be treated with respect.
solidarity,
Jacob Sanders
convenor
